The visitors got the jump on the Wildcats with Mailey Dayao scoring twice in a six-minute span. She put away a rebound of a free kick off the crossbar in the 24th and then tallied on a long effort from just outside the box. Mt Spokane, however, got a key goal back just before the break when Bre Koscielski found Sierra Asay. Midway through the second half Lily Romey knotted things up, ultimately sending the game to a shootout. Mt Spokane keeper Kenzie Shuler proved the hero with two saves, outdueling Central Kitsap’s Rachel Remnet, who also made a stop in the tiebreaker.
