Top 25 Stalemate
The 23rd ranked Gonzaga women travelled down to the Lone Star State for a showdown with number 17 Texas and is headed home following a hard-fought scoreless draw despite a combined 39 shots on the day, 15 on target. It was a complete reversal of their last meeting in 2019, a 4-3 Longhorn win. Lauren Towne was the Zag hero with six saves.
Morgan Madness
Eastern Washington saw an early Maddie Morgan goal eclipsed by four consecutive from Saint Mary’s before Morgan connected for two more to complete a hat-trick that moved her to 10 for the season and the program’s now number two all-time tally of 25 for her career, surpassing two players on the day. She still has a way to go to catch the leader Chloe Williams (44).
Yotes Dominate
The College of Idaho ladies rolled to an easy win against DIII Pacific without needing a save from Hannah McFadden in the contest. Lexi Haws, a transfer from Boise State, scored twice.
