The Whitman ladies registered a stunning road win Sunday, downing preseason conference favorite (coaches’ poll) Pacific Lutheran 2-1.
Furious Finish
Idaho State and Utah Tech were in a real back-and-forth affair, literally. They exchanged goals six minutes apart early on in the contest and looked deadlocked the rest of the way until the final 20 minutes when the two sides swapped goals over and over and over again as neither side tallied two consecutive.
Saints Sweep
The Carroll men and women both downed in-state foe Rocky Mountain Sunday with Emily Funseth grabbing the spotlight with all three goals in the win for the ladies.
